Union Boys In
Auto Accidents;
No One Injured
I'NION, Ore.. May 10 (Special)
Two Union high school boys who
drove to Baker Saturday to attend
the Eastern Oregon track; meet,
met with accidents while on the
road between that city and Union.
The first collision occurred near
Raker when Merlon Kuhn. drivtnr
a sedan atu-mpled to pass a m-agon
and some hoi-sc. One of the horses
jui:jprd into the front end of the
car. considerably damaging the
fender, hood, and windshield, the
latter v ing broken and pieces of
glass scattered over the car seats.
The borm was thrown across the
road but not seriously Injured. The
second accident ended a little more
svriouHy. Walter Davis, driving
a light sedan, was conring home

to pass a wagon that vu going
toward Baker, just at this moment
a car. bearing a Washington li
cense and driven by a woman,
started to dodge around the wagon.
In the collision which resulted the j
