One cup cooked dandelion
greens, 2 hurd cooked eggs, 1
tablespoon granulated gelatin, 4
tablespoons lemon Julee, 4 tublc
spoons cold water, 1 cup bolting

Chop greens very fine. Soften
gelatin in cold wuter for 10 min
utes und dissolve in boiling water.
Stir until thoroughly dissolved and
let cool slightly. Add lemon Julco
und let stand until it begins to set.
Fold In greens. Lino ono largo
mold or slv smull ones with slices
of hard-cooked egg. Add tho gela
tin mixture, taking euro not to dis
turb the eggs. Lt Btand until

A new schedule of fire insurance rales
for La Grande has just been published by
the Oregon Insurance Rating Bureau. Due
to the installation of new fire fighting
equipment and increased fire protection,
the insurance rates on mercantile build
ings, and their contents, in most instances,
have been decreased, thereby effecting a
financial saving to property owners and
merchants. These rates are not retroac
tive and agents arc not allowed to cancel
existing policies in order to rewrite at the
new rates, but expiring policies will all be
written at the lower rates.
Our office will be glad to give you any
information you desire in this connection.
Dwelling house rates are not affected by
the new schedule of rates.
