Somebody reports a new phenomenon observed the other
day. It was a minister looking up the business standing of
his parishioners. The church was moving from its. old loca-?
tion, in the business section of a large city, into a suburb.;
Pledges for the new edifice were liberal, but the pastor
wasn't sure of them, and he wanted to know what he could

We would say that they are going about their business about
as usual, planting crops, building buildings, running- railroads,'

L Grande and the Grande Konde and Wallowa valleys were
going to remain as beautiful and as pleasant and as prosper-1
ous after the election as they have been Iwfore.
It's pi-obably true that we are taking the income tax, Pat-'
