World Wide Guild Members Gather One. of the most interesting meetings the World Wide guild of the First Baptist church has had this season wus the Thanksgiving session Saturday evening at tie home of Mixs Jennie Nielson on Spring avenue, t Wg After 20 girls hnd nssembled at 6 o'clock the meeting started with the devotioml, which consisted of the repeating of the V. - W. ' O. covenant, followed by a discus sion of the creed by the Uev. G. A. Pollard, pastor of the church. Alter the devotional part of the program the guild members wee invited to the dining-room, where two large ta b les w e re a r ra n ge d with centrpieci's of bronze pom pons. Lityt turkeys marked the place of each guest and wit h if was n dainty nut cup of blue anJ white, the guild colors. ' A regular Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, duck, cranberries and other things appropriate for the Thanksgiving dinner was served by the hostess, assisted by her mother. Mrs. H. P.
