are as follows:

SEVENTEEN FORD CARS ENTERED
4 cars made over Thirty Miles to the gallon.
The average for the 17 cars 4 coupes, 5 tourings, 2 roadsters, 6
adster deliveries was 26.57 miles.

The cars were not allowed to warm up before the contest as all cars
were in line two and one-half hours before the start with idle motors.
This, with the adverse weather conditions of Saturday, made the Ford con
testants take a little the worst of it.
