Mrs. Beth Bailey McClean is a national authority on cookery and the serving of meals. She was formerly
associate professor of household science at Iowa State college, and is the author of "Meal Planning and Table
Service in the American Home," a widely used domestic science text.
Dr. C. Ulysses Moore is a child specialist, of Portland, and research worker on the staff of the University
of Oregon medical school. He is nlso a specialist in pediatrics and the Collins research fellow of the uni
versity. "Mother and Child," published by Lippincott's and widely used as a guide in child rearing, was written
by Dr. Moore.
Bernard Jakway was formerly an instructor at the University of California, and is a speaker of high repu
tation in California on Interior Decoration. He is author of a standard textbook on decorations and fur
nishings, and has a "Maniud of Home Furnishings" ready for the press. He has been in demand as a writer
on home decorations for homemakers' magazines.
J. Leo Fairbanks is a professor of art nnd architecture at the Oregon Agricultural college, and one of the
leading consulting architects in the northwest He is a very popular and practical speaker.
Miss Ruby Beers, a Columbia university graduate, was on the faculty of the Utah Agricultural college and
the Texas College of Industrial Ails before she joined the staff of O. A. C. She is an expert on household
management, equipment and efficiency methods.
Miss Esther Bell Cooley, of the extension service of Oregon Agricultural college, is already a popular ad
viser of the women of Eastern Oregon, who depend upon her for assistance in home dressmaking and millinery
undertakings. '
