"We ought to get together in this way often and 1 hope you will come again : we invite you to come again," said Mayor M. & Levy of Union in his addiess of welcome. Replying to this. Dr. W. T. ' Phy, president of the county chamber. said that "it seems odd to think that w e communities k i rated right here together in lhe county- should find it nec essary to welcome each other." The county chamber executive struck the right note. Why should it be necessarj' fur one community to lc so distant, socially and commercially, from its fellows i-ight here in Union county, that each must act like a slianger to the other!
