Perhaps there was even a bit of criticism. .What of Cabbage Hill today? Albeit the word "thanks" itself is not directed to the highway commission in apprecia tion of its work there, few local people who use Unit pint if the Old Oregon Trail fail to express favorable sentiment :ment this commendable piece of engineering, The present road over Cabbage Hill not only is a beautiful wide high way, safe as it is smooth, but that pint of it covered by tho 12 miles east of Pendleton recently oiled is become a loule vard(.
