Spinach has become a standard
Infant food and elder who may
not care for green in spring must

doesn't mind a few frosts. In fact.
It can be sown' In the fall to good

Spinach, like lettuce, . likes a

forts. It also must grow in cool

ish strains with larger, heavier

will give it a, flying start and de
velop fine foliage. The summer
or New Zealand spinach Is not so
well known. The spinach of spring

use. The New Zealand spinach u
not a real spinach but a plant of
another . family, .growing much
larger and reveling In heat that
would kill spinach.
