CITY WELCOMES CLUBWOMEN I
, , Tvday Ia Grande and the Grande Rondo valley have the
pleasure and privilege of entertaining the clubwomen of .Prehistoric Mountain
Oregon in attendance at tho annual convention of the State
Federation. Although a rather difficult thing for a smaller
city to accommodate two or three hundred visitors the
way in which they deserve and in which we would like tu
entertain them. La Grande has made every provision pos
sible .and trusts that the pleasure-of their stay here will
be as great for them as it is for the host city.
For many of the delegates this trip to Eastern Oregon
is probably their first opportunity to become acquainted
