Chandler, Chorus Holds Its . First Rehearsal The Monday Musical chorus held Its 'first rehearsal this season last evening in the Neighborhood club rooms under the direction of Mrs. Jesse A. Hoskins, of Baker. The rehearsal was very successful with a large attendance. Mrs. G. L. J )ut ton, chairman of the musical, has received several beautiful num bers, which tho chorus will learn during the year. The next rehearsal will be held next Tuesday evening at the same place and all women interested are invited to come. There will be no rehearsal during the week between Christmas and New Yenr's, it was announced this morning. present and the evening was spent sowing, after which dainty refresh ments were served. - Social Meeting Is Planned - The ladles auxiliary to the Bro therhood of Hallway Trainmen met last evening at Kagles hall for their regular business meeting. Af ter the business session arrange ments were made for a social meet ing to be held Tuesday, January 5. Officers elected by the auxiliary last week will bo installed this evening at Kagles hall when the U. of It. T. and auxiliary will have a Joint meeting nnd installation. Drain and blanch. ' l'eel onions and cook In boiling water until tender but not broken. Add sugar when on ions aro half done. Brain and cut In hnlves. . Melt butter, stir In flour and slowly add milk, stirring con stantly. Season with Bait and pep per uud bring to the boiling point. But a layer of macaroni into n well-huttercd baking dish. Add half the onions and half the sauce. Cover with macaroni and add re maining onions and sauce. Cover with buttered crumbs and bako in a hot oven' for 20 minutes.
