with meat, brown gravy, apple
sauce, endive, bread and butter,
scalloped cranberries, coffee.
I tired Potatoes with Checte.
Two cups potatoes, 1 cup milk, I
egg. j cup cheese, 1 teaspoon salt,
teaspoon naouer.
Heat mill into potatoes and sea
son with salt and pepper. Sepa
rate white and yolk of egg. Heat
yolk till thick and add o potato
mixture. Add cheese. Heat whit
till stiff and dry, and fold Into mix
ture. Turn Into a buttered baking
dish and bake 20 minutes In a hot
oven. Mashed potatoes may be
used in place of riced potatoes and
then less milk Is necessary.
Scalloped CranlKrWes.
One pint cranberries, cup su
gar, t cups soft bread crumbs. 1-3
cup melted butter, H cup seeded
raisins, sugar, grated lemon rind.
Hotter a baking dish and put in a
layer of crumbs. Wash and pick
over cranberries. Parboil in water
tu which teaspoon of soda has
been ad-led. Then boll for It) min
utes with sugar and a cup of wa.
