Hyacinth's, favorite subjects lor the house during late winter and early spring, are altogether too much neglected in the garden where they scatter fragrance over the en tiro garden in lute April and early May. Hyacinths are us hardy und easy to grow outdoors us tulips and daffodils, but some how this fact does not seem to be well known and many people regard the hyacinth as pureTy a house plant. It is even finer out doors. A group of half a dozen will give scent to the premises. The single hyacinths are better for outdoor . planting than the double sorts. Only the Komnn hyacinths are tender and should not go outside. There are special grades of bedding hyacinths for MfswiKf No. -19. I-'rom: OUIXiON TRAIL FOX FARM, If. W. Kmllh, Prop.. La Grande, Ore.
