passed placing ine supervision ami
handling of the league arbrlters in
the hands of President Schroeder.
The plan calls for but a single um
pire at each game but tills man will
be on the regular payroll and will
not be a resident, of any of the
towns In the league. Two umpires
may be used in important games, at
