This "spring1 soup" is xatd to be a sure curt for spring fever, act ing as a blood purifier and tonie. It is recommended as a dish to be served otlfe a week. Sprlnx Soup. One cup chopped dandelion leaves. 1 cup chervil. 1 cup purs lain, cup chopped cabhage, J cup chopped sorrel, 3 tablespoons but ter, teaspoons sugar, teaspoon pepper, 3 taldcspoons flour, 3 cup.s chicken muck, 1 cup cream, l egg. The chicken stock should come from the chicken prepared for the chicken loaf planned for dinner. Wash Kft'ens carefully and chop. (Mil Into a kettle ith tin cabbage and tint with bits of butter.' I tnspoon vanilla. 1-S teaspoon sail, tablespoon granu lated gelatin, J cup cold water, i 'up whipping cream, shredded fresh pint-apple. Wash rice through several wa ters and slowly add to rapidly boil ing water. Itoii rapidly for in minute.N. ' Drain and add milk. ook over hot water until in ilk is id so i bed and rice is tender. J. j Pearson delightfully entertained the members of the Tuesday lirldftr club and their husbands Friday evening at the liuntz home on Pennsylvania Avenue. Carnations were tastefully arranged through out the home. Four tables were at play with with Mrs. Lee Han ford and II. M. Larson winning iiltfh scores. At the close of the play an excel lent two course lunche on was serV ed. Approximately forty members or the Christian Endeavor society of the Christian Church enjoyed the Ivustcr breakfast served in the basement of the church at seven o'clock yesierday morning. The menu consisted of oranges, bucon eggs and hot cross buns. Cove (Special) One of the most delightful events of the week was the Senior Party Friday even ing at the home of Mr. and Mis. J. H. Price. The rooms and din ner table, were beautifully decora led in the Easter colois, and after .i delicious dinner wia S'-rved the vening was cnjoyably spent at a nits. The guests were members Of the the Senior class of the hh;h school, including MiKs-s Cladys Iaroti. The shutters sagged and were ivy eaten the windows giving in to an emptiness at once foreboding, dreadful. Excitement ran agog when the place was bought. School children' huddled to watch the rooms renovated. A sign swung out: "Stop here for tea." Lights sprang up. It became a frequent pleasure to drop in of eve nings. In time, the towns-people loved the place. The inviting sign, the cleanliness, the light banished fear.
