Pendleton Scouts Buy
Summer Camp in Hills
PFVnr.RTOK. Ore. (AP) The
Boy Scouts of this city have pur
chased a summer camp site in the
Blue Mountains near Meacham.
This tract consists of 40 acres,
with over half of It cleared.
8lx buildings on the ranch, when
renovated, will furnish sleeping
rnrt living nuurters for the boys
during the summer months, while
buthiiig facilities will be found at
a distance of one-half mile in
Meacham lake.
The scouts of Pendleton and of
nearby towns In Cmatllla county
will use the summer camp.

back Mississippi and Missouri,
which deserted McAdoo yesterday.
Oklahoma, however, flopped
back to Owen on the thirty-fifth
ballot.

Press) The Democratic national
convention adjourned last night
until 10:30 o'clock this morning

adjournment was taken after the
thirtieth ballot which showed no
material change in the relative
