troduces Mrs. Castle in a series of
whirlwind events. She dances, rides,
swims, and wears a number of stun
ning wraps and gowns -that will no

place in New York City and in pic
turesque Palm Beach. It is a mod
ern story, written by Charles K.

In

storjt than thrill comes to the Star
theatre Wednesday as the Universal
attraction, "Nobody's Bride," in
which Herbert Rawlinson is the star.
Usually an underworld plot is feat
ured by thrills, thrills and more
thrills. There are plenty of thrills'
in "Nobody's Bride," but the general
purpose in filming the story was to
keep the thrills submerged beneath
the enthralling interest of watching
two women in love with one man
and the events which determine
which he will marry. The plot places
one woman- in the world or crime
and the other in the world of high
society, while the man is simply a

manhood by the encouraging hand of
one of the -women.
"Nobody's Bride," is said to have
many elements which are unique in
story construction, but the general
outlines known in advance of its
showing indicates, that the story of

Opposite Rawlinson two of the
screen's prettiest actresses will be
seen. Alice Lake, a star in her own
right, will be seen as the woman of
the underworld.

comedy, a screen version of "The
Hottentot-" A modern type set is
totally inadequate.
As a laugh-maker the picture is
even funnier than the stage play of
the same name.
Thomas II. Ince picked a winner
when he bought the film rights to
the play fur $21,000. He has pro
duced a thriller in the picture. It's
the cleverest comedy drama of the
season. It will he the feature at
traction at the Star theatre Thurs
day, Friday and Saturday.
