Union and Baker County.
Union county may enter 25 men
in the horseshoe tournament for the
champion of Top O' Blue Mountains
at the Old Oregon Trail pageant
Julv 3. Each of three counties,
Union, Umatilla and Baker, may en
ter contestants in the tourney and
reports from the two latter are to
the effect that many have announc
ed their intentions to participate.
Several from Union county will also
enter and applicants should see Earl
Reynolds, secretary of the Chamber
of Commerce, for 'information as to
the proper method "of enrolling for
the horseshoe tourney.
President Harding will play the
winner.
The rules to be followed are not
regulation but were adopted with the
view of speeding 'ihe play up so that
it would not drag over a period of
