Evening, Mr. Gilstrap In no uncertain terms paid his respects to the teaching of Infidelity, declar ing thnt- thft difficulty of most People who have trouble in accepting the teaching of the Bible and Christ is moral rather than intellectual. The occasion of the indictment was a let ter that came to Mr. Gilstray from one of the infidels cf the town, in which the :Bible was charged with fnstei-lnir white slavery., .immorality, witchcraft, slavery, war, polygamy and adultery. Replying to these charges the evangelist first said that a man usually iinas wnm ne is iuur ing for. If he comes to the iBible with evil in his heart he will find these things which he can twist to his own tastes. In direct reply . to the charge of the Bible teaching such things, he said that it is true that adultery, witchcraft, war and many other evil things are found in the Bible, not with its approval, but as a matter of record of the evil passions of those whose history is recorded. Meetings were announced for this evening and next week. CHRISTIAN CHURCH The re vival meetings at the church are at tracting large audiences and stirring the interest of the people: Mir. Gil strap is proving himself a preacher of power. Meetings will continue all next week.
