It is now one of Goldwyn's 20 lg super-features for the current ieason and has been produced en a spectacular scale. Director Tcurneur took his prin cipals to England and photographed exteriors in London and on the Isle of Man, with the personal assistance 01 the author. Permission was ob tained, for the first time in history, to use Trafalgar1 -Square as the back ground for a film play. The inter iors wore mnde at the Golcwyn stu dios in .California. The story of "The Christian," that of at man who renounces earthly love and tries to live a Christ would were he on earth, is dramatic and compelling und Mr. lourneur has told it in a series of dramatic pictures, always tilled with action and against a background of pictorial beauty.
