The Word of God is not wholly confined to the pages of a book it is dailyipoken through the Wcrld of Nature in which we dwell. His Sun is the God-inan, Jesus Christ 'When he turns away from that Sun there is desolate win ter; when he turns toward It there is warmth and life. the sun. tlie earth, quickens in everv one who turns to Him a season of growth and fragrance; no one can even slightly incline toward Him witJtout a sense of quickened life; thoughts, like tender plants, spring up; and love like fragrant bloom, comes, quickly into being. It is then the springtime of the soul. Every spring of nature is a symbol cf this inner season, every day a page from this Word of God, every season a chapter, every year a book. Everyone has had a mother- Let us not forcret to remember and honor her tomorrow. When Miss An na Jarves of Philadelphia years ago made the suggestion that a special day in May be set apart to com memorate the love and the love and influence of .mother it was received with general approval, but the day will klo the individuals no good un less they observe it. It is Chris tianity that has exalted mother to the position which she now occupies. Let no one forget annually to review the lesrons cf the duty, respect and love we owe to mother.-HRev. R. Fred .Hart, presi dent. Mother's Day will call to our memory the best friend we ever had except our Redeemer. We can't give them too much honor. The songs will revive sacred memories. Moth er's Bible will be read again. The morning' subject will be: "Mother's Tender Care and Our Gratitude." Don't "forget to wear a flower Jn her memory. The evening .service will be givon to "Tributes to mother from her children." Think of just a few words to say about our own precious mother. This is 'her day. Can we ever irget her? Albert R. He was unable to get here en last bund ay on account of sickness in his family. Gilstrap is a big outstanding man with con victions about things and problems, If you are wanting to hear a "milk sop" preacher, you will be disap uointcd. Mr. Gilstrap is not a Professional evange list, but is -Field Secretary of the Eugene Bible University. He thinks, however, that there is no work great er than the "Work of an evangelist and insists he have time for one or two meetings each year. Services will begin at eight o'clock. Remem ber the Bible School and C. E. at their regular hours. Sunday is Mo ther's Day. Some of coir mothers ai'e here and some of them are "over there." These cushions will carry a load of 48,000 pounds. The trucks are also equipped with what is known as a swinging spring plank which enables the use of a combination of springs that take up the overload anil are easily adjust able at all times.
