Fashion Notes Variation from Egyptian ParisA variation of the -Egyptian mode seen today Is the gown of dark I1"'1?. ur 4ue wi,h wule .f Egypl'an colors and designs down the front and hack. Sometimes the panel is edged with a wide band of gld iilibou, in which case the ribbon ex tends over the shoulder in an un broken line. ItiMmn Ornament On Hip Paris The single large ornament on (me hip is still today a favorite way of fastening draperies. The or nament, however, instead of being a jeweled cahochou, is now a ribbon, conulc or a big lotus flower. Cashmere Crepe London Cashmere crepe is one of the spring materials in high favor. One worn Sunday was combined with crepe de chine and cashmere crepe being stamped with plaid or some other pattern and used for paneN and sleeves. Apricot IVIt Hat. London-A remarkable hat of the moment is of apricot felt in a shape. reminiscent of the somhrero. It turns up on one side and for part of the front. The only trimming is a knot of three fair-sized red roses posed in tho exact middle of the back. Two Beach Suits Necessary New York" Swimming Is going to bo something of a hardship this sum mer utiles? one has two beach suits; the first for swimming and the sec- nd for "dry bathing" in the sand. At Long Peach Sunday the newest I bathing suits of brocaded satin had a long fold of drapery in bright col ored silk extending from one shoul der and trailing on the ground. Costume ltlouv (trows Odder New York -The costume blouse gets, as its Alice in mderlund re marked, curiouser and curiouser. Now it launches forth as a sort of basque! made up or Roman Mnpes, with a quite unrelated horizontal band of gteen crepe hanging from one shoul der. May Kade Bui Not Vet New York There is snip, talk about Hie pussitiff away of (lie vogue il and house dresses. from brilliant colors. No hint of fad- inir, however, Is seen in a new dance frock shown today of orange crepe romain, heavily beaded with jet, pearls and brilliants. . . For Romper Frocks New 1 ork Chainbruy, cotton crepe, striped batiste and English print are some of the materials from which the very young lady's romper frocks are made. For dress up she has this season a dainty little gown of organdie, dotted Swiss, or printed crepe de chine. Proving Uh Value New York The naurm nurse already proving its practicability to day. Paris likes it and New York is beginning to capitulate. Large, long unit flat, this purse is a minia ture brief case, in paisley or moire silk. . New Hair Mode. Paris The new chignon mode of dressing the hair has the hair in place cm the temples. They are sup plemented with a large jeweled, curv ed comb supporting the chignon it self. Tortoise Shell Fashion. LomlonTortoise shell lace is used more or less sparingly today on gowns of tortoise shell crepe romain. A gown of this type in the rich tor toise coloring, decorated simply with a girdle of matching lace, and one or two small bice panels, is rather a re lief from the glaring Egyption mode. Reversion in Hustle New York There is a distinct re version lo the bustle in the draping of wide ribbon with which one gown "diown hero today is decorated. The ribbon is arranged down the back of the skirt, in two rows of big loops, with flying ends. It Is difficult for n general pr-v titiouer to become a specialist after he gets the habit of making reason able charges. 10 Reduction on Tailor-Made Suits for One Week beginning Saturday, April 28th, Ending Saturday, May 5th. Jwinif to the scarcity of SAGE TEA TURNS GRAY HAIR DARK Grandmother's Recipe Bring Back Color and Lustre to Hair to That beautiful, even shade" of dark, glossy hair can only be had by brew ing a mixture of Sage Tea and Sul phur. YouV hair is .your charm. It makes or mars the face,' When it fades, turns gray or streaked, just an application or two' of Sage and Sul phur enhances its appearance a hun dredfold. Don't bother to prepare the mixture; you can get this famous oMVccipe im proved by the addition of other ingre dients at a small cost, all ready for use. It is called Wycth's Sage and Sulphur Compound. This can always be de pended upon to bring back ttie natural color and Itistrc of your hair. Everybody uses "Wycth's" Sage' and Sulphur Compound now because f darkens so naturally and evenly that nobody can tell it has been applied. You simply dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through the hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morning the pray hair has disappeared, and after another applica tion it becomes beautifully dark and appears glossy and lustrous.
