On their visit to Florida the l.a Grande people were disappointed, for 'thev expected to see manv of the 'thin-rs which appear in the boosters 'coming from the everglade country. From the description given of what they really saw, it is safe to say that the I.11 Grande folks would not I exchange UiO acres of (rood Grande ; Rondo valley for the entire state of Florida, including all t!h choice alii- to the stories of the early mini-itr rumps when people rushed from all parts of the country to sock the golden treasure. Mr. Lewis saj-a it is almost unbelieveable the people elbowing their way through southern California, and the building boom there is truly remarkable. Ulue Mountains Harrier.
