The theme of "The Primitive Lover" is a reudy made foundation for any comedy. The caveman kidnaps the object of his urinours only to find, that, in the fastness o tho mountains, he is ut terly incapable of curing for her comfort- Not so far uway the brew ing coffee of his more practical rival drifts nuily into his cabin with agon izing presistency. It is the sparkling personality of Miss Talmadge that makes such a role as that of the romance-seeking wife distinctive among the many screen attempts tu perpetuate such u character in a munner that is tioth interesting and amusing.
