Appreciated The La Grando band gave its first public concert yesterday afternoon in the Arcade theatre. It was thorough ly appreciated. The theatre was fill ed almost an hour before tho concert began and a happy crowd of good people waited with expectation for the organization to render its first uclcctlon. Every number was excellent, show ing the work the bund is doing in tin way of practice in order that the city may have music in tho general schcnie- of life. The leader, Andrew Loncy, recognized among the very best, ws; proud of his band, as ho had u right to be. But, let it be known now thai l.a Grande as u community is also proui of tho band.
