The Kebekah play given at the school auditorium on Friday night, February 3rd, was a success, both in entertainment and financially, as they playett to a full house. A sled load of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs came' down from Enterprise, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Houck and Miss Leota Holmes attended from Jo seph, also Mr. ami Mrs. Edgar Hook of Wallowa were herei to attend. The various local people who took part In the play seemed especial ly adapted to the parts assigned to them. Roy Cook as Sammy the darky was a good character, a(po Lloyd Chapman and Wanda Hngen as an old Yankee bachelor and old maid were very good, while! Lloyd's mother, Mrs. J. J. Chapman played her part well as a young miss, and the heroine In the play. John Mc Kensie had to be the villlan since all plays must characterize one and plnyrtl his part well. So did Mrs. Floyd Hammock as hi8 mother, and Floyd Hammock as the dashing and successful young doctor. Agnes Chapman and Mrs. Ethel Hook took their parts well as girl frlonds of the heroine. The title of the play was "Who Is the Fool? The student body of the high Bchool will give an entertainment at the school auditorium on Friday night, February 10th. There will be two plays and some special mu sical numbers and a nominal charge will be asked for admission.
