It tells the story of honest work and a constancy which is hard to duplicate. We hear occasionally through the prcjjA of bills of various kinds intro duced to benefit Oregon, and then we hear no more of the bills. The one who introduced them gets the pub licity of starting something, hut toa often thcic is no finish other than a pigeon hole in a committee's desk. Nick is a little different. He has not much of the sky-rocket display in his make-up but he is a worker. When he sets about to put a bill through he fellows it day by day; he keeps it in mild, and he docJ not Introduce bills just for the publkity the intnxfuctior, brings. Oregon's reclamation work owes more to Nick Sinnott than to m9 oth er living man. He has done more to get Oregon included in the appropria tions for reclaiming desert lands than any other force at Wasington. He i i the Bill Borah of Oregon when it comes to reclamation, and we urge every reader to not be deceived when the plums finally fall as they arc now falling to Eastern Oregon, for Sin. r.ort is the old chap who has been constantly at it. .1 a few years ago?
