carnivals from showing In Lu
Orundo. The petitioners pointed out
the 111 effects of such shows, calling
attention to the erronuus Idoas car
nivals uro likely to put into the
minds of young peoplo and the large
sums of money taken out of town by
such shows. It was also polaled out
that the work of Iho churches and
schools is counteracted In some moas
uio by carnivals and tent shows.
