Dcsikt, Manager C. D. Putnam and Howard K. O'Brien returned last evening from a fishing trip that was declared to have been the finest tripjflf the kind even taken by Putnam. They spent a week fishing along Bear creek and are now telling many fish stories. They caught the limit of trout mostly rainbow, and tell stories of 18 anil 20 inch Dolly Vardcns yanked out of Bear creek. Tho six days de voted to fishing were among the most ideal ever spent, Putnam states. Thorr wasn't a mishap of any kind and when the week was over tho two anglers were in trim to do ten miles at a stretch without so much as feel ing the effects. tin the trip out storms were en countered and as a result thc twtj sportsment arc telling stories of hail stones an inch in diameter and thick that it could be scooped up along the road by the shovelful, that sound more fishy than the fish stories, for no one doubts that this part of tho country is an angler s puiuoise whilj hj is something not often encoun tered. - .h " "r w. n "..
