start his car, it caught fire but he
got the blaze out before any damage
was done, this is the second time
Mr. Stringhnm has had his car catch
fire.
Last Wednesday night someone
went into Bert Grout's garage, ran
sacked everything and left with
Herts brand new inner tube.
Considering the busy lime, a good
crowd attended 'Blue Mountain
Grange Saturday. Eleven new mem
bers were initiated. A short but in
teresting program was put on by
Worthy Lecturer Mrs. Orlnnd Anson.
A few plans couponing the grange
fair that will be held this full were
made. Mrs. Alex Robertson and .Mrs.
Chas. Spencer were appointed to take
charge of the music and Cecil Sher
wood was asked to organize a base
ball team.
Saturday evening Mr. and- Mrs. Joe
Harrison entertained twelve friends
at a card party. Tho evening of en
joyment was brought to n close by
