Leonurd Goodrich, aged about 65, was accidentally shot ,and filled in the J-'ord repair shop at the comer t S and Monroe streets about 10:30 this morninfr, when a gun in a pack age in the hands of Gordon Brsnscom was accidentally discharged. Brans coin had sawed a hole in the floor of the place and found a bottle, which he threw out, and a package. As he picked up the packuKc, the gun went off, striking Goodrich behind the car, killing him instantly. Branscom did not know what the package contained and the shooting is declared to have been entirely ac cident -il. C. A. Robinson and "R. P. The dead man was a semi-parnlytic and his been a public charge for some time. At lite time of the killing he was working in the shop to repay money given him to get eomcthing to cat. He has been ill this county for a long limo and was a well-known, fig ure about the streets. Last summer, from April to June, he worked on the I streets for the city. ! He is survived by a brother, whose address is believed to be 603 W. Birch street, Wnllit Walla, Wash.
