Two linemen were Bent out who examin ed the poles, but found no difficulty there. After a series of experi ments on Thursday afternoon, the power came on and stayed on, but the operators did not know the cause of Its going off. Voting on Water Bonds ' The resolution passed by the council calling for the sale of 1 30,- 000 bonds to install a water works system at North Powder, came up for the endorsement of the voters at a special election to be held to day, at which time the voters will have a chance to say whether they re In favor of water works for this town or not. 1 . Three Arrests In Three arrests Police Court were made over the weekend by the police force. Henry Keo was arrested for disor derly conduct; Oliver Sudhrook for driving a car with the cutout open; and Elmer McAllstor for cutMnq corners. The three will have their troais tomorrow morning.
