Journeying from Nia gara they visited Buffalo and then Ohio and Indiana and to Chcano. From Chicago they went to Milwau kee then to St. Paul, ta Fai'KO, North Dakota, then to Missoula and to Wal lace, Idaho visiting Spoktne. From Spokane they came to Pendleton and then to La Grande. Some very bad roads were encountered but the trip was very successful and has lasted since early in May. They will re turn by car to Los Angeles adding another fifteen hundred miles to their speedometer. , - City Is Killed With People Just where the traveling public will sleep In La Grande It things con tinue as they are is a mystery that no one seems willing to hazard a guess upon. Last night every hotel and rooming house was filled and it was stated by competent judges that not a bed in a nubile place was left unoccupied. Castlcman, who lias been in the drug business in Portland, has located in this cily and will be connected with the Wallowa Milling and Grain Company.
