In order that tho misunder standing may be corrected, the game warden explained that the 1!I0'J law protected elk' until August 1 1919, but this law was repealed by the 1913 Legislature and perpetual pro tection was provided for Uiis noble animal. "There will be no open season on elk in this state at uny time unless the legislature fixes one at some future session.
