The abandoned piiee-tabiluine plan of the Department of Commerce's industrial board was declared "unauthirizid law," in an oifnion of Attorney Gen eral Palmer to Secretary Kedfielil, dated April 1, previous to the reigna tion of the board, and made puulie today. The plan was held to be illeual by the. attorney general, on the grounds that it constituted price-fixing among producers in violation of the anti-lruH act, a situation which was not changed in legal aspect by participation of the industrial board, an agency just ere ated by statute.
