Grande there has grown up a uauti
business and social club combined.
It is the Liberty Mining Club Mind
Is composed of gold minors. Some
time ago W. H. Uohnenkaiup, L. A.
McAllister, Dick Jor.es and M. B.
Donohue became interested In a gold
mine in linker county. The . fam
' Hies met occasionally and, talked
mining. Then they decided to play
a few gimes of cards after mining
had been dipcussei and gradually
meetings drifted !n regular weekly
occasions. Later It was a club and
is knovvu as the Liberty mining
club. They meet Monday evenings
with one of the members and enjoy
a wholesome dinner after which
they play cards and talk mines. It
Is said that mining history is divulg
ed In remarkable accuracy at these
gatherings and that technical names'
of the ores and ledges have become
common phrases among the mem
