Lindsay, who has been c:i ;):el by the city manager as chief of the fire department rf the city of Lu Grande.- arrived yesterday from i Crimp Lewis and is on the job at the fire hnll today. He lias received his i discharge from the service. The new chief vwls a member of the city brigade for a short time before he went into the army. Since that time hehus spent seven months at Camp Lewis and served there with the camp fire department. . Mr. Lindsay says Camp Lewis mas one of the 'best fire fighting outfits on the continent.
