Paul Stark Secley, who will dellv or a lecture on Christian Science, to morrow afternoon in this city, will nrrlvo in La Grande on the 11:20 train from Portland. Mr.Seeley will make but a brief stay in town, as he Intends to return to Portland on the 2:20 train Monday morning. MOOSE ARE OCT AGAIN-. After a season of idleness because of "closed" conditions, La Grande Lodge No. 850, L. O. O. O. M., are out again and have fallen into their former stride in looking after their members welfare generally, paying sick benefits and promoting the so cial end of lodgeship, having decid ed to stage their first social endeav or next Wednesday evening, Febru ary 5. A good program Is boing pre pared by the committee, refresh ments will be Berved and the lodge and their guests will listen to an address by one of the supreme lodge officials, wherein much is to be learned of Mooseheart, that Mecca of all good Moose, where the widows and orphans of Moosedom are reav ed and educated, and which Ib one of the biggest things of its kind In the world.
