Library Association's headquarters In Washington for more books' from ' this community for the men overseas. The appeal , from 'Washington Btatos that new novels ' and good western stories, whether' new or old are most needed. Books by Zane Grey, Rex' Beach, ' Jack ; London, Ualph Connor, Owen Wlstor and O. Henry are very popular. The -Public Library .announces that It will receive, and , forward all suitable books that are turned In. It urges the friends of the soldiers and sai lors, many of whom' have already responded most generously, to give more books. ' ' y.
