The important part evory citizen must take in winning the war was emphasized in a statement issued today by It. N. Stanfield, who has just returned from a two weeks- trip through the Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon in the interest of his candidacy for the United States Senate. Mr. Stan field said he was pleased with the results or the trip which afforded him an opportunity to meet a great many voters and to present to them personally his candidacy.
