Portland Livestock Show The Portland Livestock Show, as it is commonly called, is officially known as the Pacific International Livestock Exposition and is held each year at North Portland, Oregon, at the stock yards. This year it is being hold from November 19 to 23. This show should bo of particular interest to local stock men, s they will not only get an op portunity to see the various classes of livestock as ordinarily shown at ,a stock show ,but they will also have an opportunity to study the market classes of livestock, entries having been made for the various classes of feeder and fat cattle, horses, hogs and isheop.-1 They will also get a bottcv I conception of the workings of 'the stockyards at Portland and the latest methods of slaughtering nnd of the packinghouse operations, while there will be exceptionally good exhibition R&Pt-AClNGl POCKET- - jr scissors of cattle, as there will be numerous exhibits from Oregon and Idaho that they will not see at local shows or at the State Fair. In connection with this stock show there are tilso held sales of tho various classes of pure bred livestock.
