Britain is becoming very much inter
ested in the electrically propelled ship,
which was first developed on a large
scale by the United States Navy.
The editor of the Electric Times in
a recent interview said:
"The electric ship is no longer a
dream but a reality, and I should not
j be surprised to find, within a few
years of the close of the war, every
new vessel of any size driven, steered,
stopped, reversed or turned merely by
nressine a series of buttons on the
bridtre.
"British shipbuilders now have their
eyes on the possibilities of the electric
drive for big liners and merchant
ships, and it is hardly to be questioned
that our admiralty is less alive than
the United States navy department to
the superior merits of the system.

enne comes upon her, and though he
Is pursued by the Sheriff and posse,

prisonment to obtain aid for the

is shot under him, and man and child

poisoned spring, full of the bones of
animals and men who have drunk

Carey a chance for the intense, re
pressive style of act'ng which has
niado his name so valuable on the
front of a theatre. In "The Secret
Man" he has one of his best roles.
