Dink Stover (Jack Pickford) gradually becomes a great favorite and leader among his fellows, especi ally when it develops that he has a positive genius for football and has wpn a very important game with a rival school. , The football scenes were much to the liking of young Mr. Pickford who has many a touchdown to his credit at the St. Francis Military Academy, New York, where he went to school and played on the school team. At his request a full game was stag ed with the two opposing teams made up of members of the cast and vari ous studio offiicals. Various of the directors and male stars who hap pened to be off duty at the time (and it was noticeable how many were off duty while the football scenes were being taken) acted as coaches and ref erees. As many of these gentlemen had left their school and college days and football many days behind them and insisted upon using the same rules that -"our team" used, many & delight ful argument or scrimmage occurred as the various stars of the motion oicture firmament disported them selves upon the gridiron. Ennor Crawford, who dabbed in sensationalism, allowed her perversi ty to lead her into a strange recom pense for the love of an honest man. She wiote a Bneenng, immoral one sided satire, making the man who lov ed her with a clean heart its target. From her cigarette smoking and cocktail-imbibing associates she gain praise and applause; from the man who loved her came an imperishable proof of his devotion. He married her, and thn began a contest in the girl's heart between duty to her hus band and her longing for her old care-free life. Out of this situation Bluebird photoplays have created a drama of intense interest, entitled "Bondage," to be presented at the Ar cade Theatre tonight only with Dor othy Phlilips the star. A ' .
