REVISITS JAPAN AFTER FIFTY YEARS ABSENCE (United Press.) 6EATTLE, Wash, Oct. 3L Half a century after he visited Japan with Perry, Captain W. H. Hardy, only survivor of that distoric expedition, left today for another trip across the Pacific. Captain Hardy this time will tell the Japanese what their country was like 50 years ago. Y. Matsui, a Portland attorney, will accompany Hardy on the trip and act as his business agent. Hardy is a ' Civil War veteran and sailed with the United States navy for two score years.
