Miss Justice reveals pitiful condi tions in the homes of New York East Sidcrs, where, she says, the people are actually in the grip of starvation. This week's bill is made up of singing, dancing and instru mental music and balancing feat3. The entire bill is one that will make you forget your troubles and enjoy a good laugh. Besides tiie four acts, tl)e Keystone comedy will be shown and the Arcade orchestra will play a couple of selections that is bound to please. Tomorrow, for ona day only, Dorthy Phillips, tho star of Hell Mor gan's Girl, will be seen in a new Blue Bird picture called "Bondage " which tells in gripping episodes a story of New York's "bohemia" that gives the talented screen-queen, Dorothy Phil lips, the greatest opportunity for emotional acting that she has ever boon provided with and Miss Phillips may be relied upon to fulfill the ex pectation of her legion of admirers. Halloween Social At Y. MX. A. Tonight Pumpkin pies, cider and apples will be served at the big Hallowe-en- vaudeville social given by the teach ers of the public schools at the Y.M. C. A. this evening. "SomerTime' is the slogan adopted by the teachers and every one who attends will re member the event for a life time. Some thing doing every minute is what the committee intends staging, the vaudeville show will be worth the price of admission which is ten cents and the treats will be giv;n free as an extra measure. The entertainment committee is planning on giving six acts in the vaudeville show and will give two shows 8 to 9 and 9 to 10. One of the main attractions will be the Souse-a band and is itself worth the price of admission. ' The merribers of the band are working hard and expect to make an overwhelmingly popular debut. The instruments that will be used were gotten under great dif ficulty and in the few practices the members have mastered their in struments in great shape. The other attractions will be much enjoyed by those who attend and are really worth the effort of going a great distance t see and hear.
