EARL CARROLL a m TONIGHT ONLY The Wonderful Child Actress Little Zoe Rae In la m 'THE LITTLE PIRATE" M mi Tuesday and Wednesday HELEN HOLMES Wallace Reid, the ever popular Las-' ky-Paramount star, will be seen at the Arcade Theatre, today and tomorrow, Octiber 29-30, in his latest Para mount picture, "The Hostage" a story written especially for him by Beulah Mario Dix and produced for the Lasky Company under the direction of Rob ert T. Thornby. The story of "The Hostage" in which ho is now appearing, is a most unusual one as it shows the attitjde of rival people towards one another. : The story has to do with the attitude rf Low-landers towards Mountaineers. Each ono accuses the other of bar- : bari.-TO and cruelty, but when they both unite to fight the people of the Coast, their attitude changes. This prcxluction serves to introduce to Paramount patrons a new leading woman Dorothea Abril. Miss Abril hR3 for some time been a member of the Paramoun: organization and her splendid work in Support of Mary Pickford in 'The Little American" icd hor to bo chojea to play leading wom an for Mr. Reid in "The Hostage."
