With a company of more than 600 people and settings that are said to surpass in magnificence any yet brought to the screen, Olive Thomas, the noted "Follies" beauty and Har rison Fisher girl, will appear in the Triangle play "An Even Break," at the Arcade Theatre, Sunday only. Through scenes of riotous splendor the vivacious etar trips her way in CoatumeB that only a "Follies" beauty can wear. She also dances in' that spontaneous, individual manner that made her the favorite of Broadway during the past three seasons. The story runs parallel with Miss Thomas' own career. It concerns a girl in a email town who goes to New York and travels the footlight trail to fame. Although this is) "silent" dra ma, it photographs so effectively the choruses, dancers and big jazz bands of a pretentions Broadway cafe that it might be called a gigantic musical comedy on raiovass. Charles Gunn, Margaret Thompson, Darrel Fobs, Charlesi K. Freramh, J. Frank Burke and Louis Durham sup port Miss Thomas. The play was written and diiected by Lambort Hill- yer. A single word is enough for her, and she is more rsponsive than any adur. I have ever known. One may play upon her emotions at will, and she is never cross, or out of sorts, as most screen children are at some time or other.
