Then have each member of the fam illy ent nlonc. This is the scheme promosed by Dr. G. Stanley Hall, president of Clark University. Dr. Hall doesn't advise this. He simply gives it as a psyeho-physiclogical fact. A single companion increases the appetites. Mixture of sexes at the sumed, says Dr. Hall. Anything at tractive in enviroment tends to bigger appetites. Mixture of sexen at the same table is a 'bad thing from the point of view of the boarding house keeper. day to appropriate ceremonies in his honor. When Dr. Still first proclaimed his theories in the seventies, they were received with little credence. When he enunciated such ideas as that dis ease in the bodily organs was often caused by vertebrae being slightly displaced, causing pressure upon tho spinal nerves controlling the func tion of those organs and that the ad justment of the vertebrae would re lieve the nerve interference and result in recovery of the diseased organs, he was ridiculed. Today, his theories have received a general acceptance and his system of practice accorded legal recognition 'by the various states. He is recognized as being one of humanity's benefactors. During the past year, funds have been contributed by prominent people from Canada and the United States for the erection of a statute of Dr. Still. This statue was recently un veiled at Kirksville, Missouri, the home of Dr. Still. It is of heroic pro portions, and is the work of the noted sculptor, George Julian Zolnay. It represents the "Old Doctor", as he is affectionately called by his follow ers, as he is often seen, staff in hand, wearing soft, old-fashioned boots which he refuses to discard, tramping the oak covered hills about his home, getting in touch with "things as God made them."
