A numboe of theatre parties attend
ed the Great Wortham Shows carnival
last night and made it the best of the
week. The weather was ideal and all
the shows and attractions : were
at their best. The Miracle or
"show different" was well re
ceived. In this place a number of well
gowned young women offer a per
formance unlike anything seen here
before. Miss Billye Williams, a petite
miss presents "Tableau D'Art," a
beautiful act with twenty or more
changes of costumes reproducing
works of arc and paintings. Her pa
triotic numbers were very timely and
met with an ovation. The Miracle il
lusion, based upon the finding of the.
infant Moses is as startling as it is
interesting.
The Whip continues to be the big
drawing card and several remarked
that riding 'bucking bronchos was
tame compared to siding the Whip.
The Monkey Speedway was crowded
at every race last night and the little
monkey that wandered away the first
of the week came walking in last
night, all worn out, tired and hungry
and will resume his position tonight.
