COLONIAL ter Leonard won the title, f't, it was pointed out, he hit Welsh roue-h often er than the New York lightweight The vaunted deadly one-punch carried by Kilbane will be tried to its utmost tonight. Leonard is admittedly an easier man to hit than Welsh. Kil bane will be able to liiUhim irepeated ly. Whether he will be able to find the button and cut short Leonard's career as master of the lightweight di vision, however, is doubtful, for the bout is too short,' and Leonard is cap able of caring for himself. The bout should be a thriller. It has as its principals two high-class fighting men. Leonard has never been a dis appointing battler, and, while Kilbane has shown very badly in some in stances, it cannot be said of him that he ever shirked a task when he was in danger of taking a beating. The sudden ending of Kilbane's bout with George Chancy last Labor Day, when he slopped the knockout king with one heavy blow doesn't bode well for Leonard; although the latter hardly can be classed with Chaney as a boxer. Geo. H. Currey Next to Observer Office Phone BUck 2001 HE WHO MOVES REAL ESTATE 1708 1-2 Sixth St. La Grande, Oregon Next to Observer Office Helen Sanger, the notorious birth control advocate and agitator, would in all probability change her view point on the greatest social problem of the day, if she would attend an ex hibition of "The Unborn," the power ful five part feature film, which will be the principal attraction at the Colonial theatre Saturday and Sunday. Carrying a mighty message to every mother and girl, the story reveals the disastrous results entailed by abor tion, a practice which is more preval ent in the United States today, than ever before in the history of the coun try. The affiliated women's clubs of Spokane, who were represented by a committee or nity at the initial ex hibition of "The Unborn," at the Ca sino theatre, were unanimous in de claring the production the most pow erful version of the much discussed subject they had ever witnessed or heard of. Despite the fact the picture abounds with thrilling and realistic situations there is not an objectionable scene or an offensive Hash throughout the entire five reels.
